L’Oréal opens new headquarters in Madrid

The company has chosen a “hybrid work model in which employees do not have a fixed location”, but can roam throughout the day and settle in spaces that best meet their needs. The new offices are entirely digital and include open-plan collaboration spaces, cafés with workspaces, ‘silent rooms’ or ‘bubble’ spaces of all different sizes. The headquarters also has 76 rooms, equipped with interactive screens and digital whiteboards as well as tools such as Wifi-6 technology in addition to a common space called Agora, which has a screen of more than 100 inches and a special audio and microphone system, a digital system connected to the canteen, so food can be ordered directly, and a space technically equipped for audiovisual productions.

The offices also have services or areas devoted to employee wellness, including large terraces that can be used for meetings or events. In addition, the head office has medical, physiotherapy and health coach services, as well as a new gym, a breastfeeding room, and even a beauty center with hairdressing services for employees and a boutique offering a range of products to employees and visitors.
